Spicy Broccoli with Sesame Seeds



INGREDIENTS:
1 tbs sesame oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 cups chopped broccoli
3 tbs chicken stock
1 tbs toasted sesame seeds
1 red bell pepper, sliced (optional)
red pepper flakes, to taste (make it spicy!)
salt
freshly ground black pepper

METHOD:
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.  Saute the garlic and crushed red pepper flakes for about a minute but do not brown.  Add the broccoli (+pepper) with the chicken broth and cook covered for about 3-5 minutes until desired tenderness/crispness.  Add salt and pepper to taste.  Remove from heat and toss with sesame seeds.  You can also add a splash of soy sauce while the veggies sautee if you wish, but it's great without.
